Investigators identify vehicle in deadly Kenner hit-and-run

Kenner Police have identified the vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run from August that left a pedestrian dead.

Investigators say 48-year-old Brian Jones was walking through the intersection of Veterans Blvd. near Bainbridge St. on August 27th around 10:30 p.m. when a 2014 or 2015 silver or white Honda Accord struck and killed him.

Kenner police say the vehicle is believed to have sustained damage to the front bumper, hood and roof, before fleeing the scene. Authorities said the car was last seen travelling eastbound on Veterans Boulevard.
