Two people were shot early Saturday on Bourbon Street, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Officials say the shooting occurred around 2:06 a.m. in the 100 block of Bourbon Street.
According to initial reports, two suspects opened fire on each other, striking two victims who were in the area.
The victims were reported as an 18-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man.
They were taken to a local hospital by EMS, the NOPD says.
